There's an air of laid-back sophistication about the Dorchester. Curtains are in a fabric that's rather like brocade, with a traditional leaf-and-flower pattern.

Sofas have buttoned and studded rolled armrests. Tartan-style material mixes with classic cream. The dining suite has tall, roll-back chairs and the table has sculpted legs. And quality is everywhere.

At 43ft by 14ft, the Dorchester lodge is the biggest of Willerby's holiday homes. And there's so much to like. We love the large tartan, buttoned footstool; it's in the centre of the lounge and, because it's on castors, you can move it anywhere in the room.

An elegant, wood burner-style fire is set into a wooden fireplace with a black marble-effect back and plinth. Floor-to-ceiling double patio doors span the entire front of the home. One of the sofas can be converted to a double bed. And a pale grey, luxurious-pile carpet completes the sumptuous look.

The kitchen is an intriguing creation. That's because it has two sectors. One side houses a dishwasher, washing machine and deep sink; it's made of 80% quartz and 20% resin, from a range manufactured by Pyramis. Its high quality is obvious.

The cooking sector is opposite; a five-burner hob with grill and oven beneath, and a microwave set into a suite of cabinets that forms an L-shape. In the corner of the L-shape is a walk-in, pantry-style cabinet with five shelves - and something rarely seen in a holiday home: a tall space ideal for a vacuum cleaner.

The Dorchester's aura of elegance continues in the main bedroom. Blossom-and-twig design curtains and the deeply upholstered, buttoned headboard supply the traditional element. The room is generously proportioned, with a feel of opulence. There's a large dressing table with spotlights set above the mirror. Two full-height windows ensure this room has an ample supply of daylight, and in between the windows sits a television station; a floor-to-ceiling wooden panel with shelf and connections. The king-size bed has a lift-up base for storage. Doors lead off on both sides of the bed. One opens into a walk-in wardrobe-dressing room with two hanging areas, a mirror and copious quantities of shelving. The other leads to an en suite bathroom, with an over-bath shower.

The twin room has beds of full domestic width (3ft). The same upholstered, buttoned headboard style as in the main room is here, together with a dressing table and cylindrical stool. Both the en suite bathroom and shower room have tall, chrome towel warmers and feature dark grey tile panelling.
