Greenacres Camping, Shepton Mallet

A family-friendly site, close to Wells and with views of Glastonbury Tor. The site offers lots of open space and farm animals for children to enjoy. A traditional campsite (but with modern facilities), Greenacres welcomes campfires. No pets.

Country View Holiday Park, Weston-super-Mare 

Just 200 yards from Sandy Bay beach and close to Weston-super-Mare. Quiet touring area with outdoor pool, bar and games room also on site. Large dog walk area and the beach is also dog-friendly.

Exe Valley Caravan Site, Dulverton

Deep in the heart of Exmoor National Park nestled in a fold of trees between the river and a mill stream. An adults-only site with grass and hardstanding electric pitches. Country inn opposite.

Burrowhayes Farm, Caravan & Camping Site, Porlock

With a view of Dunkery Beacon and situated beside Horner Water, Burrowhayes is within the Exmoor National Park. Many paths lead to open moorland and into the woods. Close to Porlock Weir and Minehead. Horses/ponies for hire.

Set in the heart of the Mendips, this club site is close to Priddy village, a pub and farm shop. An ideal base for walking, cycling and climbing. Facilities include a family room and shop.

Channel View Caravan Park, Brean

Situated on the Somerset coast, on Brean Sands, with beachside pitches and views of the vast sands and dramatic headland. Grass pitches with electric, with toilets and showers. Dogs are welcome and the beach is dog-friendly.

A family-run farm site with lots of open space set between Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea. Grass and hardstanding pitches with electric. Play areas, designated dog walk and fishing lake. Ideal for visiting places such as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury.
