just bought a auto-trail delaware and the front swivelling coffee table just gets in the way, so i would like 2 flip up shelves to put coffee mugs on fitted to the bulkhead in the lounge. have rung some auto-trail dealers but they don't seem interested and i'm a diy disaster area. anybody got any ideas?
Our AT did not have the circular table fitted so for informal coffee breaks we use one of these freestanding fold up tables Link.
It stows in the wardrobe with the main table so is out of the way but always ready for use.
And is probably a lot cheaper than any bespoke folding shelf!
Keith.

Unfortunately, what you want would normally be a relatively straightforward DIY task involving identifying suitable material for the shelves together with suitable fixings. This earlier thread and links might be helpful:
If you don't feel up to the task yourself, you might find that professionals will consider it too small to bother with or, if they are prepared to take the job on, will charge a hefty fee. You might try contacting a local firm specialising in fitted kitchens or perhaps a small motorhome converter if one is near to where you live. It does need saying that minor 'add ons', if not sympathetically carried out (eg. when new and original materials are not colour-matched) can be a real eyesore.
thanks for all the info, that free standing table from argos might be useful as a stopgap till i find someone who can source some matching board for the bulkhead. when i got the bolero from todds they fitted said shelves that matched, but it all depends what they have in at the time. another weird thing why are there no spotlights on the nearside in the lounge?

What about replacing the larger top with a smaller top on the swivel leg? It wouldn't be difficult and you could use a contrasting piece of board rather than try to match it with the existing board.
