Eve is having to type this out for me in between making cups of warm lemon & barley drinks, topping the hot water bottles up, making sure I'm all tucked up on the couch. George Collings Posted October 29, 2014 Share Posted October 29, 2014 I heard that its not unusual to get a bad cold after the first Flu jab. I have had them for years but did get a cold after the first. Perhaps the imune system gets excited at dealing with the new bug and lets the cold virus under its radar but recognises the Flu next year and easily deals with both it and the cold.
