nightrider Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 A month or so ago we bought a beautiful Volvo estate car ideal for the work we want it for, but are having much difficulty in getting a towbar for it due to being 22 years old, went to a well known towbar and caravan fitting company in the Bury area and even they are having difficulty in finding one, any help appreciated, will travel within a reasonable distance. Keithl Posted April 18, 2014 Share Posted April 18, 2014 Malcolm, As you haven't had any other offers of help here is my suggestion, try approaching one of the MH towbar manufacturers such as TowTal or PWS and ask if they'll make you up a towbar. Hi Malcolm. I have only just signed in after a long period off of the forum and spotted your plea for help. If you have not been fixed-up with a tow-bar and electrics then please PM me and I will pass you some info for a mobile chap from Ormskirk that I have used for some 30yrs+. The last one he fitted for me was put onto a Volvo V70 D5 SE Geartronic. I came down visiting from Northumberland and left it with him for a few hours whilst I went into Ormskirk.
