THE SOUTHERN MOTORCARAVAN SHOW

 

A FANTASTIC WEEKEND AT NEWBURY

The sun shone and the glorious blue skies were a perfect backdrop to the Southern Motorcaravan Show, which took place at the Newbury Showground.  Motorcaravanners and leisure enthusiasts from the surrounding area and across the country flocked to the show to visit for the whole weekend or just for the day.

Weekend campers took advantage of the fantastic free entertainment each night, as well as the chance to grab a few accessories for the summer ahead.

Everywhere you looked people were sunning themselves and enjoying the ususually warm weather; large groups gathered to have a chat outside their 'vans or in the food courts.   And as a perfect end to the day, the real ales on offer from Castle Rock Brewery were delicious!

Both weekend campers and day visitors had plenty to keep them occupied, with a multitude of exhibitors selling pretty much everything you could need.  From large American motorhomes to the tiny Romahome R10 Solo single person campervan, there was a hugh choice of 'vans to buy.

Browsing around the stalls, there was cheese, wine, clothing and other essential accessories, from spares to cleaning products.  Something for everyone - from newbies to experienced motorcaravanners.

The manufacturers of the park and holiday homes confirmed that they had had a very successful show with many sales of holiday homes during the weekend.

Next years show dates are 20th-22nd May 2011 and we look forward to seeing you there!
