WEST Yorkshire-based Wildax Motorhomes are designing a brand-new range of motorhomes on the all-new Renault Master in conjunction with Lehel Coachbuilders, the first to be built on the new van.
Lehel are a UK company with a production facility based in Hungary; they specialise in building horseboxes and sport trucks.
Their association with Lehel’s team of craftsmen will help Wildax to meet demand with their new range, which they intend to supply to a number of dealers around the UK and Europe. Production will begin on the 6.20m Master, with shorter and longer models to be added.
Wildax aim to launch one model at October’s NEC show, with two more layouts to follow at the February show.
Wildax have also recently moved premises to a large detached production and sales facility at Eastgate, Elland,West Yorkshire.
The company will continue production of their Citroën-based motorhomes from the new site.
