Erwin Hymer Group introduce three brand new models for 2021

The Erwin Hymer Group, encompassing Elddis, Compass, Xplore and Buccaneer, held a retailer preview on 2-3 September at its site in Consett in County Durham to introduce its current line up of caravans.

In addition to stylish and practical updates to its core range of caravans including new graphics, ActivCare upholstery and new aluminium exteriors (on selected models), it also revealed three completely new models for the 2021 season:

Buccaneer Bermuda

This fourth-berth Bermuda joins the Commodore, Cruiser, Aruba and Barracuda to complete this premium range of caravans.

Sporting smart copper, chocolate and graphics, this 8ft wide caravan exudes luxury and those who tour throughout the year will benefit from the underfloor heating. It has a rear fixed bed (a Hypnos mattress is an option) while storage is plentiful above and to the sides of the bed – you'll also find a new corner vanity unit with large mirror and LED strip lighting.

All upholstery is wipe-clean, thanks to the ActivCare system and the Bermuda comes with the 'Shimla' furnishings scheme as standard – cushions feature a pretty copper fan-shaped design and complement the copper piping on the seating in the L-shaped lounge.

A curved console unit houses the television and offers more storage. In the kitchen area, the mocha-coloured honeycomb design splashback allows for easy cleaning.

Elddis Crusader Borealis

With a dreamy-sounding name, you can expect to spend peaceful evenings stargazing in this caravan thanks to the Sky-Scape sunroof studded with LED lighting.

The Crusader range is another luxury offering from the Erwin Hymer Group and is made up of single and twin-axles. The Borealis is a four-berth twin-axle featuring a chic L-shaped lounge complete with ‘Siena’ ActivCare upholstery.

Worktop space in the kitchen area is generous and the lockers above the hob and sink offer plenty of room for stowing groceries. The shower has been given the ‘star’ treatment too, with LED strip lighting adding to the relaxing feel of this caravan.

It would be an ideal caravan for a couple or a small family.

Compass Camino 650

The Camino range is the flagship of the Compass brand with premium fixtures and fittings. The 650 is a twin-axle built on an AL-KO chassis with AKS 3004 stabiliser and ATC.

It’s a bright and airy caravan with ‘Heligan’ ActivCare upholstery – delicate floral embroidered cushions and oatmeal-toned seating.

The television is given its own dedicated space and the curved console beneath offers two sockets and two USB ports for charging phones and devices.

A stainless-steel sink in the kitchen with chrome taps adds a domestic feel and is easy to keep clean – while storage is, as you’d expect, plentiful throughout the caravan.

There is truly a place for everything!
