Chestnut Farm Touring Park

Staying here is a little like stepping back in time... you almost expect to see the Famous Five sitting around a camp fire or William Brown and his Outlaws setting an ambush. This farm offers a large, unregimented field with plenty of space, surrounded by woodlands and fields. The pitches are level with hedging and mature trees for shelter. The shower and toilet facilities are not the best encountered but this is a rural campsite. Overall this is wild camping with a toilet and shower thrown in; perfectly adequate but not perfectly formed. The nearest pub is just over a mile away. ...
