Holiday Resort Unity

Located in Brean Sands, Somerset, Holiday Resort Unity is a large site located just a short drive from the M5 and just a short stroll from the beaches of Brean. The site facilities are extensive and even the reception and holding area are larger than many sites you’ll find.

Once inside the first buildings you’ll see on the left are an entertainment complex that houses everything from arcade games to a large bar/restaurant/nightclub area. This American-themed bar offers a wide range of food and is suitable for all the family. Kids' clubs (complete with resort characters, Buster, Sally & Huey pigs) run daily. There’s a large dance floor area for the kids to let off steam as well as a children’s shop selling everything from glow-in-the-dark toys to sweets.

After 9pm the bar and nightclub caters for the adults with the bar offering all manner of drinks and the stage playing host to live acts (such as The Dreamers, The Rockin’ Berries and even Chico!) as well as cabaret acts, magic shows and even karaoke. Next to the bar area there’s a games room that houses everything from fruit machines to shoot-’em-up and driving arcade games. The actual pitches themselves are set some way back from the main entertainment complex so there’s no danger of being disturbed by the disco if you just want a quiet night.

The pitches themselves are well spread out, flat and large. There are standard pitches, electric hook-up and concrete hardstanding pitches available. Various brick-built toilet blocks are dotted about the site and offer a full range of facilities – all are modern and of a high standard. Also on site is a café, takeaway and a small supermarket (to call it a mini-market doesn’t do it justice – it must be one of the biggest on-site shops in the country).

Residents at Holiday Resort Unity have discounted swimming in the pool complex, which is complete with indoor and outdoor pools, plus waterslides and chutes. There’s also a children’s indoor and outdoor play area, while various kids' clubs catering for different ages run throughout the day. A big draw for families is Brean Leisure Park, the South West’s largest theme park that offers over 40 rides and is within walking distance of the site. If you’re looking for an all-in-one family fun site and don’t want to have to drive again once you’ve pitched up then you’ll love this site.
