Terraced and in a wooded valley in Dartmoor, it has great views of Honeybag Tor and Bonehill rocks. A fairly shallow little river runs through the campsite and you can have great fun fishing for the wild brown trout in it - kids love to paddle in it in the summer. This is a good family campsite, but there are no electric hook-ups in the camping areas. The owner allows camp fires along the riverside and also sells eggs and vegetables at the campsite reception.
