Cosawes is an AA four-pennant rated campsite, with two acres set aside for touring and camping. It offers 65 pitches, 25 full service hardstanding pitches with 16 amp electric hook-up, fresh and waste water points and even a digital TV connection point. Also on-site is a new shower/toilet block, disabled and family shower rooms, laundry, fridge/freezer, WC chemical disposal, undercover dishwashing, public pay phone, tourist information and Wi-Fi internet connection. Shops and supermarkets are nearby, while the Norway Inn is about a mile away (a bus stop is nearby) and has an excellent menu.
Situated in the historic location of Cosawes (the wood of the lady) this site’s former occupancies include a gunpowder mill belonging to the Trevena family. Nowadays, much of the 100-acre park is devoted to permanent park homes, while the six acres given over to touring customers have 65 pitches. Fresh water points are provided near the convenient waste bins.

The terraced location’s next level has grass pitches around its central oak tree, close to 25 new, high quality service pitches. These not only boast hardstandings and 16 amp electric hook-ups, but also water fill and grey water points, and even a digital TV hook-up.

The current toilet block is one level up, adjacent to the reception building. The facilities include heated showers, WCs and basins, and an integral laundry room has coin-operated washing machines and tumble driers. Outside stands a WC chemical disposal point. A new toilet block has recently been completed.

In an undeniably pretty setting, Cosawes Touring and Camping Park is well served locally. In nearby Ponsanooth, a corner shop incorporates a post office and news agency; a similar outlet is to be found in Perzanwell. Three miles out on the A39 Truro-Falmouth road, there is an Asda supermarket and Truro has branches of both Tesco and Sainsburys. Also on the A39, there is a bus stop and one mile away, you’ll find the Norway Inn, an attractive hostelry with an impressive menu.

Continuing development notwithstanding, Cosawes Touring and Camping Park is a cut above some of its rivals. Owners Ros and Gail Fraser and managers, son Jason and daughter-in-law Rhiannon are clearly aware of tourers’ developing demand for quality accommodation. It's also worth noting that seasonal pitches are available, as well as storage facilities. Cosawes have recently been awarded a David Bellamy Silver award.

"Quiet and tranquil site with all-weather pitches throughout nestled near woodland. This is a very relaxed and laid-back site
