In the well-stocked tourist information centre visitors can see just what a wealth of interesting places there are on the doorstep. You will easily find somewhere special for you and your family to visit that will not involve driving miles. From the park you can walk the famous ancient Greensand Way footpath, cycle designated routes to nearby villages, or try geocaching unlocking exclusive GPS co-ordinates to find treasure.
Only a few hundred metres away there is fishing in a carp lake, stocked with roach, rudd and carp. Within five miles there is trout fishing, and 15 miles away sea fishing is available from the beach and boat trips from Folkestone.
Just two miles away is Imagine - an indoor soft play centre (for babies and older children) and Laser Battlezone, a golf complex, a nine-hole pay and play and covered floodlit driving range, along with many country pubs with gardens.
