At the southern tip of Loch Lomond, an ideal base from which to explore the countryside and many tourist attractions of this popular tourist area. It has a high proportion of seasonal pitches, statics and holiday homes, with 100 gravelled pitches reserved for tourers or motorhomes – these are quickly booked up in high season. Many are on a slight incline. The site facilities are clean and functional and there’s a nicely equipped children’s play area. Lomond Woods is just on the outskirts of the busy tourist town of Balloch – gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
