We always take our scooter but your right. If your just going to the Mosel, you wont need it really. There is nowhere to go on it that you cant go in the van to be honest. Its just a stretch of river from Trier to Koblenz (well thats the bit thats stuffed with Stellplatz and popular for that...
So I thought I had at least France figured out. I don't :( the site websites are all in French so I can't make head nor tail of them! Rapidly losing enthusiasm here. I think we are going to skip Austria. So France, italy, Spain and Portugal if we have time. That better?

My brackets fitted to the mushroom pegs on the van, once fitted and bolted into place the awning slides onto them, using a little lubrication helps. The awning is fixed to the brackets permanently with two stainless self-tapping screws.
Just have to add a few of mine
Hi Mike, Will have a look on here about 12pm tomorrow, if you still need one it gives me the afternoon to go and get one, (still lots to do yet). I will be setting of about 2am Thursday but getting some shut eye after tea time tomorrow.
Cheers.

I was beginning to get a bit bored with the MM forum, all that stuff about technicalities, then to my amusement/entertainment along comes a full blooded slanging match. I refer, of course, to Dover parking. The posts illustrate a clear polarisation between...
Hi,
We're having some fun and games with our van electrics, I went to the Peterborough Show to have a solar panel fitted and before work started found I had a flat leisure battery! On checking it, 2 cells had gone kaput.
So 2 new leisure batteries and a solar panel later, I headed home...
No Graham, never did get to the bottom of it.
Sorry to hear you have been unwell - given the weather you ain't missed much - if that helps at all? Malarky is a terrible affliction and there is no known cure - apart from a month in a motorhome in warm sunshine which cures all known ills!

Yes, to be honest I would have another Fiat and in fact I also run a Panda as my daily motor. BUT it took them so long to accept the problem and start putting things right it was a disgrace and it left me disgusted with them at the time.

Hi, just so you know, the aerial power lead is for use on non-avtex tvs only. Your Avtex tv powers the aerial amplifier through he aerial lead itself but the option must be "turned on" in one of the menus. I don't use an Avtex tv but I do use the aerial,...
Hi all,
Iam off to France for a week in June, because of only going for a week I thought about going along the coast from Dunkirk as far as Honfleur, then on the way back stopping around some of the WW1 site around the Somme battlefield,I was going to be staying on aires sites that dot the coast up...
Sounds like something may have boiled over and got into the burner blocking the airway and there is not enough air mixing with the gas jet. Nothing that a good clean shouldn't sort out. There is usually a couple of screws that hold the flame spreader on, easy to remove then give it a good clean out...

Also Hymer charge £2,000 for delivery to UK, so that adds a bit [/QUOTE]
