New Renault ranges for 2015 now available to order

The latest models of the Renault Trafic, popular as the base vehicle for campervan conversions, have been announced. First deliveries are expected in early 2015, but orders are being taken now. The Trafic Passenger comes as short (3.098m) or long (3.498m) wheelbases, there are four 1.6-litre dCI turbodiesel engines and a choice of Business or Sports trims. As supplied, all the versions have three rows of three seats, though the last row can be dispensed with and the front can have two seats specified for the Sport trim version. All told there are 17 different versions of the Trafic Passenger offer with engines delivering from 90hp up to 140hp.

Standard equipment across all models includes electric front windows, DAB radio with USB and AUX sockets, trip computer, electrically-adjustable heated door-mirrors, two large sliding doors, Electronic Stability Control with Hill Start Assist and Grip Xtend, anti-lock brakes, tyre pressure monitoring and remote deadlocking. The Sports trim adds metallic paint and sundry cosmetic touches, automatic headlights and wipers, the Renault MediaNav 7-inch touchscreen multimedia and navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity, manual air conditioning, a premium dashboard with a smartphone dock, front fog lights, rear parking sensors and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The larger, Master Passenger range has been refreshed with three six-seat Combi models powered by a 2.3-litre dCi engine, two nine-seat Combis, two versions of the 17-seat minibus with a 150hp dCi engine and two versions of the Trabus Glazed Panel Van with the 150hp dCi engine. Standard gear includes the DAB radio, CD player, Bluetooth and a USB socket, trip computer,  electric front windows, one sliding door on the left,  electric wing mirrors,  the same stability and hill start control system as the Trafic and the Trailer Swing Assist system.

Base models prices start at £25,124 OTR for the SL27 dCi 90hp Business trim Trafic, going up to  £31,254 for the LL29 Energy dCi 140hp Sport trim LWB. The Master Passenger range starts at £27,665 and goes up to £32,937  for the LM29 Business Trabus model.
