Campervan converter Wellhouse Leisure gets ISO 9001 accreditation
Posted on 20 Jun 2011Daniel Attwood Wellhouse Leisure campervans logo Compact campervan converter Wellhouse Leisure is celebrating after gaining ISO 9001 accreditation for its manufacturing processes.
Gaining ISO 9001 accreditation means a company has fufilled specified requirements for a quality management system that ensure consistency across the whole manufacturing process. This should ultimately benefit the end-users of any such products.
“This is another major landmark for our company’s development, and we just simply would not have achieved this without significant extra effort by every single team member," said Wellhouse boss David Elliott.
“I am so chuffed about this. You’d expect larger manufacturers within the motorhome market to have ISO 9001 status. It’s really no excuse for them with their resources, but it really is a massive achievement for us, and can only lead us to greater things.”
Wellhouse Leisure converts compact campervans, while also specialising in importing a range of Japanese vehicles for conversion into campers. The company is also the only authorised converter of Hyundai’s i800 MPV.
