Bailey bags big numbers in recovering marketplace

Newest mainstream British manufacturer Bailey, has seen a 25% growth in retail business and the introduction of a refreshed Peugeot cab for the 2015 model gave a sales boost at the NEC. In fact, Bailey reported that the 2014 NEC Show produced best-ever results at an exhibition for the firm. In a continuing move away from overcab coachbuilts to low-profile models, the biggest seller of the year for Bailey was the Approach Autograph 765. This is a fully crash-tested, low-profile motorhome for a family of six with a drop-down, longitudinal bed.

Simon Howard for Bailey outlined the plans for 2015, “Following the rapid growth in popularity of Bailey motorhomes since their introduction in 2011 we will be looking to add to the existing Approach Autograph range with the launch of the new of Approach Advance entry-level range in early 2015. Aimed at the first-time motorhome buyer, the Advance will share many of the unique features and characteristics of the up-market Autograph range, not least exceptional value for money, to bring something genuinely different to this market sector.”
