TWENTY managers from the New Forest’s Forest Holidays camp sites are being trained this week in how to ‘green-up’ their sites.

The one-day training workshop will explore ways in which managers can further improve the environmental performance of their sites.

It will be given by Dr Victoria Edwards, an authority on environmental and green issues and a Forest Holidays board member.

It aims to increase awareness of climate change, CO2 emissions, energy use, waste reduction, water conservation, transport issues and habitat.
