Essential jackets for adventurous motorhomers

As we head into the rainy season, intrepid motorhomers will need to be wrapped up against the elements. Sportswear brand, Helly Hansen, has a range of new jackets designed to keep the warmth in and the water out.  First there’s the men’s and women’s Quallicum CIS Jacket (SRP £200) featuring a Component Insulation System (CIS) design. The three-in-one jacket combines a Helly Tech parka silhouette with a zip-out, PrimaLoft Black-insulated, mid layer. Slip on the outer layer for lightweight rain protection or just the zip-out insulator for warmth. Alternatively wear them together for the ultimate combination of warmth and weather protection. The jacket’s retro parka design beckons inclement weather.

The second new design comes from adapting the W Aden DIS Coat (SRP £160) so it can be used throughout different seasons thanks to a brand new, three-in-one system. The classic Helly Tech raincoat has a clean, Scandinavian design with perfect features built in to keep you dry, warm and stylish when autumn weather turns cold and wet. The men’s Eight Q CIS Coat (SRP £150) is a sleek, versatile raincoat that features fully-sealed seams, Helly Tech waterproof, breathable protection and a city-friendly longer silhouette.
