Flynn Refrigeration launches new range of campervan rooftop air conditioners

The latest venture for the Birkenhead-based Flynn Refrigeration sees it targeting the campervan, van and utility vehicles markets with two new additions to its vehicle rooftop air-conditioner range - the Aircommand Sparrow and Coleman Mach 3 Plus.
Managing Director, Alex Flynn said, “The Aircommand Sparrow is a terrific addition to the pack because it offers a number of unique benefits. It is essentially the ideal air-conditioner for any small space and suits any vehicle up to 17 feet in length.”The Sparrow is durable and lightweight with a polypropylene chassis. It features an electronic defrost mode that enables it to operate at temperatures as low as -5C. It also boasts a powerful 2.2kW of heating and 2.0kW of cooling as well as filtered and dehumidified air.
Meanwhile, the Coleman Mach 3 Plus is a versatile air-conditioning unit that can be used for a broad range of applications including vans and utility vehicles. The unit has a huge 13,500 nominal BTU cooling capacity and delivers 320 CFM airflow. The Mach 3 Plus also includes the option of a heater assembly which can provide 5,600 BTU of heat.
