If there’s one thing in short supply in a campervan, it’s space. The Reimo Upgrade cabin tent addresses this problem by fitting over the tailgate of VW T5-based campers to create an extra, weather protected, space at the rear. You can use it for storing bikes and outdoor gear, or as an extended living area.

The Upgrade cabin tent is UV-coated with seamed stitches, PU-coated rip stop polyster, a 3000mm water column as well as side windows to allow fresh air to circular. There is no frame as such, making it quicker and easier to assemble than a traditional tent. When up and running it measures 200x195x208cm and weighs just 4.4kg. The fabric is fire-resistant and the entire thing packs down to a take up very little room in transit. The Upgrade tent is priced at £159 and is available from CamperWorks.
