Adding a kitchen to your VW with Slidepods

If you need your VW for regular family use and can’t lose the space inside for a fitted kitchen, then Slidepods has an alternative.
These are an innovative way to add a rear campervan kitchen pod to any VW T5/Caravelle/California Beach conversion. With both standardised and custom options available Slidepods campervan kitchen pods also give you the convenience of removing your pod easily when not in use or utilising it as a stand-alone kitchen unit within a drive away awning.There are two versions available at the moment, the Ultra and the Multi. The Ultra is made to fit underneath a genuine OEM VW multiflex board and into the rails of the Volkswagons T5 Caravelle, California Beach with triple seat and T5 van conversions that incorporate genuine VW floor rails and Genuine VW triple sliding seat.
The Ultra Campervan pod is the most flexible pod. It is a self-contained unit that sits in the back of the van and is accessed through the boot so maximising available space inside the van and keeping cooking smells outside. It can be fully accessed when the seats are in sitting position or when they are made into a bed. The Ultra is easy to remove and inserts into the van’s floor rails ensuring safety whilst travelling.
It can also be removed from the van and used as a stand-alone kitchen unit in drive-away awning. It comes with an integrated stand to allow the pod to stand up off the ground allowing for storage underneath the pod and ease of use.
The Ultra features:
- Choice of two high quality sink/double burner units
- Storage space
- 23-litre grey water tank with overflow safety system and easy mechanical drain
- Tamber door
- Constructed from genuine heard-wearing lightweight ply, available in a wide variety of colour options
- Hard-wearing edge trim in several colour options
- High quality 7-l/min pump
- Soft open/close mechanism with safety stops
The Multi Campervan pod replaces the genuine VW Multiflex board that fits into the rails of the Volkswagon T5 Caravelle, California Beach (with triple seat) and T5 van conversions (that incorporate genuine VW floor rails and Genuine VW triple sliding seat). The Multi Campervan pod not only replaces the multiflex board allowing for a full width bed but it allows for maximal use of space and contains all you need for a fully functional kitchen pod.
