Parks offer free car or boat to lodge buyers

Parks group Lake District Estates is offering a free car or boat to anyone buying a twin unit lodge on its Woodclose or Hill of Oaks sites before April 15.

A family business based in Kendal, Lake District Estates has four sites altogether – Woodclose Park in Kirkby Lonsdale, Hill of Oaks on the shore of Windermere and Waterfoot in the Ullswater valley, which all offer touring and camping facilities as well as owner-occupied holiday homes, and Buck Yeats on Windermere, which has lodges only.

Woodclose and Hill of Oaks also have lodge developments, with models available from £139,000, including the first year’s site fees.

Those who buy a twin unit lodge before April 15 2012 on the latter parks are now also being offered a free boat or car up to a value of £12,000. Recommended models including a Quicksilver Activ 430 cabin cruiser (with registration fees and boat licence included) or a Ford Ka Studio 1200.
