NEW PARK-HOME DEVELOPMENT NEAR THE BEACH

40806314-bc0b-4563-8f25-a43530f71253
If you are looking for a new residential park-home development close to a beach (with a Blue Flag award for cleanliness and exceptional water quality) but also near a town, look no further than East Beach, Southend in Essex.

Unusually, this nine-acre estate is divided in two by a railway line. But it’s only a mile long and only one train comes through each week. A footbridge links the two halves of the park.

There are 48 plots on one side, all but two, twins and each with a block-paved parking space. Ages of residents, nearly half of whom have pets, range from 50 upwards.

Now another 3½ acres with 32 plots complete with their own entrance are being developed on the other side of the railway line. Pitch fees are £171.13 per calendar month. All homes are supplied with mains gas. Guideline prices for new homes, up to 52x22, start at £162,000.

So far as amenities are concerned, buses stop near the park entrance. There are various shops three-quarters of a mile away in Shoeburyness. A little further on at two miles distant is an Asda supermarket. Southend is four miles away.

On site there is a social club which organises barbecues, socials, days out and Christmas lunches. Park managers live on site.
