French connection offers get-away-from-it-all holidays

e99f86e4-1003-406a-bb7e-8a0eef94a07e

Unspoilt countryside far from the madding crowd, peace and quiet plus French cuisine: what more could you ask of a caravan holiday… C’est bon!

If you like the idea of going off the beaten tourist track, you will find all those on offer, along with a warm Gallic welcome, at Camping de la Cazine.

Situated, well away from the crowds, it is located in Noth, a charming little village tucked away in the departement of Creuse.

This is part of the Limousin region, the second least-populated area of France. So no shortage of opportunties for communing with nature.

But that’s not all Camping de la Cazine has to offer. Not only does it have a pool. It is also located right on the edge of a large lake with fishing galore so anglers will be in their element.

There is a chateau nearby and the village patisserie provides freshly-baked baguettes and croissants each morning. Opposite is a small family-run bar/restaurant which does an excellent four-course lunch including wine and coffee for £10.

Not far away is a second even-larger lake with sailing facilities and a clean, gently-shelving sandy beach.
What more could you want?

Two and three-bedroom holiday caravans, no more than two years old, are available for hire at Camping de la Cazine from well under £200 per week.
