Wessex opens new lodge showground

Dorset-based park home and lodge manufacturer Wessex Homes is to create a new lodge showground at its headquarters near Blandford Forum.

The show centre will open in January and Wessex will have six homes on display. These will include the luxury Hideaway, the bestselling Contemporary and the budget-priced Wessex Classic Freedom, the first Wessex lodge to retail at under £65,000.

In February, a brand new leisure lodge will be added to the collection.

Wessex already has show centres at parks in England and Scotland but the HQ centre will be the biggest selection in one place.

“We’ve got a great relationship with our show centres around the country but this will give us extra flexibility and customers will have more choice,” said managing director, Jon Day.

“Over time, we hope to have most of our leisure range here and people can see the Wessex portfolio in full glory and can choose exactly what suits them the best.”

The full list of models at the new HQ showground are: The Wessex Hideaway, the Wessex Deckhouse, the Wessex Spinny, the Wessex Contemporary Special (16ft), the Wessex Summerhouse and the Wessex Freedom.
