Television personality creates a dream home

TELEVISION interior designer Linda Barker has helped create a new lodge.

She teamed up with the Dream Lodge Group and top UK mobile home manufacturer Omar to produce the ‘Linnet Lodge by Linda Barker’.

Built to BS3632 standards, so it could be used as a residential home as well as a leisure lodge on a suitable park, the stunning 40ft x 22ft Linnet can be supplied with two or three bedrooms and has an exterior in Omar’s ‘Cape Cod’ cladding, which is offered with a 15-year guarantee.

One of the most stunning aspects of the Linnet is the Linda Barker-designed interior, which includes bathroom suites from her own designer collection.

Linda, a much-in-demand interior designer and stylist, became a TV star on the BBC’s Changing Rooms and ITV’s Building The Dream, and has since appeared on such diverse shows as I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Through The Keyhole and Children In Need.

“The Dream Lodge Group approached me to do this project and I immediately agreed,” she said. “It was a very exciting and challenging opportunity to be able to work on a project like this.”

The first Linnet is now sited at the Dream Lodge Group’s Blossom Hill Park at Dunkeswell in Devon, where is available for sale at £119,000.
