Plan now for the Newbury show

39f756e5-1f64-4ffb-9a17-82accfc08afa
THE second Park & Holiday Homes Show at Newbury takes place from May 16-18, and some of the top names in the industry will be in attendance.

Once again, the show will take place alongside the Southern Motorcaravan Show, and park home show visitors will have access to all the stands in both events, which include dozens of retailers and service providers.

Leading manufacturers at Newbury will include Lissett, Homeseeker, Stately Albion, Omar and Pathfinder.

Among the parks groups with stands are Britannia and Oaktree, while those interested in homes abroad will be able to talk to carefree Lifestyle and Spain Park Homes, among others.

Carbon Eco will be among the service providers attending, providing details of their much-praised cladding system.

As well as vehicles, the motorhome section of the show will give you the opportunity to browse thousands of outdoor accessories, clothing and gadgets, and there will also be plenty of food and drink available.

As usual there will be an on-site camping area, so if you have your own motorhome or caravan you can make a weekend of it. Those staying over will be able to enjoy a special Saturday night entertainment extravaganza with singer Joe Longthorne, comedy band Schooner, and Voices of Soul, who reached the final of X Factor.

Other music will be provided on Friday and Sunday evenings, and you’ll even be able to get line-dancing lessons.

If you prefer to stay off-site, there’s plenty to do nearby, and there will be a subsidised bus service to the show from Newbury town centre.

The Park & Holiday Homes Show and the Southern Motorcaravan Show take place at the Newbury Showground, which is just off the M4 at Junction 13.

The shows will be open from 9.30-5 on Friday May 16, 9.30-5.30 on Saturday May 17 and 9.30-4.30 on Sunday May 18.

Day tickets are £5 per adult and £2 per child (or £4.50/£1.50 if you book in advance online before April 28). For full details, telephone 01788 391123, or click here.
