Pathfinder supports Woodland Trust

PATHFINDER Park Homes is demonstrating its commitment to conserving the environment by supporting leading a woodland conservation charity

Pathfinder is helping to offset its residual carbon dioxide emissions by funding 495 Carbonplus+ trees, a project which has been created by the Woodland Trust.

The company has created stringent environmental policies, including an eco-package for its homes, to help reduce the impact its business has on the environment.

Pathfinder director Martin Hember said: “Throughout the last year we have been working hard to raise awareness of our environmental commitment and we are delighted to be supporting the Woodland Trust.

“By planting 495 Carbonplus+ trees we are taking steps to offset our residual carbon dioxide emissions, which will in turn help to protect woodland in the UK from the growing threat of climate change.”

Janice Hix, corporate fundraising manager of the Woodland Trust, added, “It’s great to see that Pathfinder is looking at how it can reduce its environmental impact.

“While the answer to climate change is to cut our carbon emissions, we recognise that most of us can’t get to zero, so planting trees is a helpful way to offset those residual emissions.”
