Wooton Hall Residential Park
Wooton Hall Residential Park
WOOTON Hall Residential Park is superbly situated in the grounds of Wootton Hall. The Hall we see today was built in 1637 by Lord Carrington on his marriage to Lady Anne Herbert, who brought with her a massive dowry. Wootton Hall was one of the first Italian Renaissance Palladian style mansions to be built.

The Park comprises of 50 acres and is surrounded by rural Warwickshire countryside.

The River Alne running through has an impressive weir at the edge of the grounds.

The entrance to the Park is situated in the middle of the village down an impressive leafy drive to the Hall, with open parkland on either side. This enables the security to be high, as there is only one main entrance.

The village of Wootton Wawen has the main bus service running through from Stratford-upon-Avon (six miles away) to Birmingham.

There is also, within walking distance, a train station which sees the steam trains going through during summer weekends.

The Stratford-upon-Avon canal, which was built in 1813, runs through the village. There are two churches – St Peter’s Church, which is the oldest church in Warwickshire, and a Catholic Church.

To the north, just over a mile away, is Henley-in-Arden with the services of doctors, dentists and a variety of shops.

The medieval market town has many buildings of historic interest on its high street, and a market is held on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Wootton Hall Residential Park is a self-contained village community with its own shop, post office and country club. A local mobile library visits once a fortnight.

There is a bowling green which is used regularly by local teams, coarse fishing in the river, and many beautiful countryside walks to enjoy.

The homes have full services, and the Park has tarmacked roads and street lighting.

Although everyone has a private back garden, the front gardens are open plan, giving a feeling of space. The Park has a full-time manager, with ground workers keeping the grounds in tip-top condition.

There are a range of pre-owned homes for sale, and a few planned new homes.

The main office is open seven days a week, so please give us a call or come and see us.
