Normandy Conqueror

Normandy Holiday Homes’ new Conqueror two-bedroom lodge is available in two sizes - 40' x 16' and 42' x 13' - with both models incorporating many marvellous design features while offering subtle detail differences. The first thing that you notice when you walk in to the Conqueror is the striking use of colour put to great effect in the kitchen with a bright accent acrylic splashback for the hob, available in a range of colours. This contrasts with the light, natural tones used elsewhere within these lodges, creating a very contemporary feel which is further reflected by some well-chosen furniture and fittings. In the lounge there is a free-standing corner sofa with contrasting ‘love seat’ in the 40’ x 16’ model, while the 42’ x 13’ lodge features an accent chair and foot stool. The sofa is a bed settee offering useful additional accommodation for visitors. Natural light is also put to good use with panoramic glazing and patio doors to the front gable, lounge side wall glazed panoramic feature with ‘hip’ roof over and ‘Velux’ roof light over the kitchen area.
In the kitchen there are feature curved kitchen doors to the base units with pin lighting to plinths and back-lit glazed top lockers. There is a built-in electric oven with LPG five burner hob with extractor. Integral fittings include a fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. An integral microwave and built-in wine cooler is found in the 40’ x 16’, which is an option for the 42’ x 13’ lodge.
In the lounge there is a flat screen TV above a feature flame effect electric fire. A sound system via Blu-ray DVD player and cinema surround sound via sound bar is provided with the 40’ x 16’, optional for the 42’ x 13’ model. Curtains and Roman blinds are provided for the lounge windows with vertical blinds to feature glazing and French doors. A really useful feature is the separate side entrance to the hallway, saving wear and tear through the lounge/dining area.
The master bedroom has an en-suite with square bath with shower over with a wall-hung semi-pedestal design washbasin freeing floor space. Ceiling spotlights are operated by sensor movement while the bath plinth also incroprates pin lighting. There is a glazed/mirror siding wardrobe door configuration to master bedroom with a triple bank of wardrobes for the 40’ x 16’ and a walk-in warbrobe for the 42’ x 13’ model. Divan and mattresses are provided for the bedrooms and the second bedroom can have either a double or twin beds at no additional cost.
With all these features plus cost-effective heating and insulation qualities, these lodges look set to ‘conquer’ many buyers looking for a practical, comfortable modern holiday home.
