KINVENA Homes, which owns The Elms park homes estate at Torksey, Lincolnshire, recently hosted a ‘Looking After Your Assets’ event for their residents.

Speakers were Richard Bussell of solicitors Sills & Betteridge and Chris Nettleton of Leisuredays and Caravan Guard Insurance.

Richard, head of the Wills Trust and Probate team at Sills, talked about Wills and Powers of Attorney, but his main focus was on the way in which Nursing Home places are funded.

He provided an overview of the position, confirming what is fact and what is urban myth.

Chris Nettleton talked about issues relating to home and caravan insurance and the importance of having the right level of cover. He was also able to answer questions relating to home and contents insurance.
