'Real Richness - The Awards'
The Camping and Caravanning Club has revealed that its eagerly-anticipated ‘Real Richness - The Awards’ ceremony will be held on the opening day of The Motorhome & Caravan Show (October 16-21) at the NEC in Birmingham.
The awards will be hosted by television presenter and Real Richness ambassador Julia Bradbury and there's a spectacular prize fund of over £10,000. They will take place on Tuesday, October 16 at 1pm and will be located in Hall 17 (Experts Theatre).
There’s still time to enter the awards via a dedicated webpage on the Club’s
website.
Julia said, “These awards really demonstrate what camping brings to people's lives and I look forward to presenting the lucky winners with some fantastic prizes.”
Leading outdoor organisations Outwell, Vango, Elddis and Hi-Tec have all chosen to support the awards and are providing a number of prizes for the top three winners in each of the four award categories – which link to the four pillars of Real Richness (Family Togetherness, Work-Life Balance, Sense of Community and Freedom). Top prizes include £1,000 spending money, a tablet computer, an SLR camera, a year’s free Club membership and much, much more.
The Club announced the awards back in February to help reiterate the Real Richness that camping provides - highlighting how camping makes people richer in mind, body and soul. Robert Louden, the Club’s Director General, said: “We’re delighted by the overwhelming amount of entries we’ve had from campers so far and we look forward to working with NCC Events to ensure that the lucky winners have an enjoyable experience at this awards ceremony.”
Club members can also secure the cheapest Motorhome & Caravan Show ticket price of £6.25 (seniors of 60+ years), £7.25 for adults and children (under-16s go free!) if purchased before October 15, 2012 (a £1 transaction fee applies). The ticket price also includes a show guide and parking.
