Normanby Hall Country Park will be celebrating the start of the new season by holding a free open day on Sunday, April 1.

It will be the first chance for people to see the new Stories Through Suitcases exhibition in the costume gallery, which is showcasing costumes from North Lincolnshire's many cultures.

Visitors can also visit the Farming Museum to see this year's temporary exhibition that tells the potted history of Elswick Hopper Cycle Co. Ltd, Barton and the story of North Lincolnshire's greatest and only Olympic medal winner, Albert 'Lal' White.

You will also be able to learn about what events are planned for the upcoming months, and about the new Tots' Time and Reminiscence sessions that will be taking place in the Farming Museum.

A season ticket is fantastic value with all Normanby Hall has to offer. A family season ticket is £20, a season ticket for two people is £16 and a season ticket for one person is £12.50. There is an early bird discount of £1 off all season tickets until May 31.

Usefully there is a small, basic five-'van campsite within the 300-acre country park

For more information contact Normanby Hall on 01724 720588 or email normanby.hall@northlincs.gov.uk
