   Take your motorhome, caravan or tent to the Easter Thunderball

FOR something entirely different to kick-start your Spring, why not head to Santa Pod raceway in Northamptonshire for their four-day Easter Thunderball, held from Friday 6 to Monday 9 April?
This event features all manner of petrol-fuelled fun for all the family and is centred around the famous drag strip, where you will get to see some of the world’s fastest dragsters blasting down the quarter-mile. The fastest Top Fuel cars hit 100mph in 0.9 of a second and can get to 300mph in under 5 seconds, shaking the ground as they go. A truly unforgettable sight!
As well as almost non-stop race car action, the show also features monster trucks, a jet-powered cars and bikes, a drift show, freestyle motorcross and even an aerobatic air display. With a festival circus for the kids, children’s entertainment, radio-controlled cars and a firework display on the Saturday night, there is something to appeal to all the family.
Both day tickets and camping tickets are available on site and there is a wide variety of fast food outlets – catering for all tastes – open the whole weekend.
