Following our look at the 10 essential things to see at this year's show, Caravan magazine has planned a track layout for a new tradition – the Caravan NEC Show Grand Prix.

Caravan magazine on FacebookWith F1 legend Nigel Mansell hosting this year's show alongside TV presenter Fiona Bruce, there's plenty to see. So here's how you can make the most of your trip to Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre, cornering between some of the almost endless list of exhibitors attending.

The circuit (click above to enlarge)

Line up on the starting grid before the lights turn green. Speed up to the Caravan Club's first turn, making sure you don't overshoot it or collide with any of the opposition. Then follow through to Adria Arc and on to AL-KO Rouge.

As you travel through the Hall 19 section, you'll come to Coachman Corner as you take on an abundance of apexes before following the track left past Lunar. Continue around the far end of the circuit to the Delta Dog Leg and on to the Bailey Back Straight.

Here, the speed will increase before you're back on the brakes for the SoLiD Hairpin – a fiendish 180 loop aiming to get participants' twin-axles in a twist before heading right towards Broad Lane Bend.

Another switchback awaits as you're soon sent around Warners Way and right to the NCChicane. Come out of that, through Camping and Caravanning Club Curve and it's a fast corner leading up to Fifth Wheel Company Carousel before the home stretch is almost in sight.

A deceptively simple left and right is all that's left between the pitlane opening or the finish line after the Swift Straight.

All that not enough for you? There's still everything that halls 9-12 have to offer too! Plan out your own route for the Motorhome and Caravan Show and click here for information on how to book your tickets.
