This year's Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC will host all the things you love about the huge industry exhibition, plus a few new things that you seriously can't afford to miss for the next season. Here's our pick of 10 must-see show attractions, old and new!
Caravan magazine on Facebook

1) New caravan model launches

October's NEC shows wouldn't be the same without the shiny new models from each manufacturer. Caravan magazine will be taking a close look at each to judge for our Caravan of the Year awards too, so keep an eye out and tell us what you think. You'll find new launches from:

The Swift Group     • The Explorer Group     • Lunar and Venus     • Adria     • Bailey     • Coachman     • Even more exhibitors!

2) “Caravan of the future”Caravisio caravan of the future

The Knaus Tabbert Caravisio prototype will be showcasing all that caravanning technology has to offer, including fingerprint recognition and smart glass that you can control with an app! You can't afford to miss the potential future of touring.

3) See a celebrity – BBC's Fiona Bruce and F1 legend Nigel Mansell

This year's show gives you the chance to see F1 legend Nigel Mansell alongside BBC news and Antiques Roadshow presenter Fiona Bruce attending as celebrity ambassador on Caravan Club Day (14 October).

We've got a selection of four gifts (worth up to £50) to pick from if you take out a subscription with our exclusive show-only magazine offer. Or simply just stop by our stand (Hall 6, Stand 38) for a chat about all things caravan!

5) Caravan accessory shops

There'll be a near endless list of some of the best accessory dealers at the show to give you some great deals on everything you need on holiday or at home. Whether you're prepping your van for the winter or just getting ready for the next touring season early, you'll find what you need at the NEC.

6) The latest caravan awnings

Not only will there be plenty of manufacturers and dealers to offer you some great advice on choosing an awning, but Johns Cross is offering a free Fiamma awning fitting service at the NEC. The service is only available from Johns Cross but the fitting will be undertaken by Fiamma factory trained engineers with years of knowledge!

7) Free towing lessonsTowcar lessons at caravan show

One on one towing advice and driving experience sessions are being held once again with the Camping and Caravanning and Club and Hyundai team up with the NCC. Book your place and learn how to tow and pitch your caravan perfectly. You can pre book your towing experience by filling in this form but you'll need to be over the age of 25 and bring along both parts of your driving licence to take part in this.

Archery at the caravan show8) Kids activities

There are always plenty of things at the show to entertain kids of all ages (and give adults an excuse to try them too, sometimes).

For the real youngsters (ages 3-8 years old) this year there's a children's crèche located in concourse suites 21-23 in the Atrium. Here, they'll be in the care of fully qualified and registered staff, meaning that you can rest safe in the knowledge that they're looked after as you search after your new caravan deals!

9) A chance to speak directly to manufacturers

The shows are one of few chances where you get direct access to dealers and manufacturers all in one place to discuss each of their caravans for sale. Make the most of this opportunity and write down any questions you can think of before you go so that you don't forget on the day!

10) A host of towcars on display

Car manufacturers are always in abundance at the NEC show. This year's no exception, with Hyundai acting as official sponsor and SsangYong also taking to the arena to show off its towcar options. For more information about what can pull you caravan, check out our Towmatch tool.
