   Hymer appoints new dealers
Posted on 10 Feb 2012Daniel Attwood Hymer Following the closure of Hymer UK and the news that the German manufacturer will appoint a number of new dealers throughout the UK, it has been confirmed that Highbridge Caravans in Somerset, Travelworld in Shropshire, Lowdhams Huddersfield in West Yorkshire and Knowepark in Scotland have all been awarded the Hymer franchise.
The new UK director for Hymer, Paul Kershaw, has said almost the entire UK dealer network had expressed interest in becoming a Hymer dealer over the past few weeks.
However, he pointed out that he is only looking for only a small number of dealers who could offer the “best locations, facilities and a reputation for quality customer service”.
I want “centres of excellence for a brand of distinction within reasonable reach of valued customers,” said Paul.
The new dealers will be in a position to offer great value with stock arriving very soon, and will take care of servicing, parts and warranty claims.
It is expected that new dealers will also shortly be appointed in the northwest and southeast over the coming weeks.
