Mulled wine, games, quizes and fireworks are on offer over the festive period

If you don’t want to sit in and watch repeats on TV over the festive period, the Camping and Caravanning Club has a number of sites that are open and many of them have a number of seasonal activities planned to help you get into the Christmas spirit.

There are 31 sites open in total and mince pies and mulled wine are being offered on Christmas Eve at 29 Club sites. Highlights include Loch Ness Shores Club Site, which is offering sparkling wine and mince pies on Christmas Eve, mulled wine and Christmas cake on Boxing Day followed by a New Year’s Eve event with a traditional Scottish Ceilidh and fireworks.

There’s plenty of fun for all the family at Oswestry Club Site with bingo and quiz nights from 28-30 December. The campsite will also be celebrating New Year’s Eve with a Cranberry Moss Winter Stakes game, a raffle and refreshments. The Club’s Bellingham campsite is also getting into the spirit by celebrating with mulled wine and refreshments throughout the festive season, plus a games and quiz night on 27 December, and further celebrations on New Year’s Eve. And if you want to support the Christmas celebrations at Ravenglass Club Site, it’s running a ‘best dressed unit’ competition over the Christmas period.

Further information on the Club’s winter openings can be found online.

Bob Hill, the Club’s Sites Director, is looking forward to the Christmas season and said: “Camping during the festive period is truly magical and unsurprisingly has proved to be really popular with campers.

To book a pitch on a Club Site, telephone 024 7767 8312 or book online via the Club’s website.
