World’s first solar powered DAB radio

The world’s first solar powered DAB radio, the Roberts SolarDAB features a handy level indicator on the display screen that shows the power level generated by the solar panel.

Once fully charged the SolarDAB works for up to 27 hours before needing a recharge; and if the summer’s a washout the radio can simply be plugged in at the mains or run on batteries.

Available in red, white, green and black, the SolarDAB retails at £80 and features soft touch rubberised controls, LCD display, line-in socket for iPod/MP3 playback and headphone socket.
